Solid silver pendant with natural opal on 18” sterling silver belcher.

This silver necklace has been hand made by myself in my Hereford based studio, I reclaimed the silver myself; melted it down, before soldering onto a 18" silver belch chain and flush setting with a dainty opal. This is a complete handmade solid silver necklace.

Measurements:

18” chain

Opal: 4mm

Pendant: 12mm

Opal is the birthstone for October, and symbolises hope and truth.

Opal is a porous stone which mean it should not be exposed to moisture; left in a steamy bath room or submerges in liquids or water as it will absorb moisture and potentially before dull and may even crack as it dries out.
